Meine Lebensform – immer als eigentliches Lebensziel deklariert und als Idealvorstellung auch von meinem Arbeitsleben. Und je exotischer umso lieber, Komfort interessierte mich dabei eher nicht. Aber – und bestimmt erging es nicht nur mir so – das Leben hatte manch andere Aufgaben für mich parat, so dass sich das Reisen nur bedingt realisieren ließ? Aber immer wieder schaffte ich es, mich trotz mancher „Dis & Dats“ davonzumachen und mich auf persönlich wichtiges Neuland zu begeben. Ich zeige hier einige Beispiele. Und einen schönen Artikel dazu hat zuletzt Sascha Chaimowicz im Zeit-Magazin-Mann (Sonderheft Frühjahr/Sommer 2018) dazu geschrieben mit dem Titel „Matteis Reisen“...
"Travel and work - input and output!" My way of life - always declared as a real life goal and as an ideal of my working life. And the more exotic the better, comfort did not interest me. But - and surely it was not just me - life had many other tasks for me, so that the travel could be realized only conditionally? But again and again I made it, despite some "Dis & Dats" to get away and go to personally important new territory. I show some examples here.
