Für diese neue Karte veränderte ich auf Wunsch von Charles das Layout. Er wünschte sich den jeweiligen Namen des Cocktails und die Ingredienzien der besseren Lesbarkeit wegen unter einander geschrieben. Grundsätzlich kein Problem, aber bei dieser Darstellung konnte ich maximal 3–4 Cocktails anstelle von 6 – wie bisher – unterbringen. Gleichzeitig sollten wir aber den Kartenumfang verkleinern? Was tun? Drinks streichen? Format vergrößern? Der „Findungsprozess“ dauerte seine Zeit und es verging bestimmt wieder mal ein Jahr, bis wir mit dieser neuen Karte in Druck gehen konnten!

At the request of Charles I changed the layout for this new bar list. He wanted the name of the cocktail and the ingredients for better readability. Basically no problem, but in this presentation, I could accommodate a maximum of 3-4 cocktails instead of 6 - as before. At the same time, we should reduce the size of the bar list? What to do? Swipe drinks? Enlarge format? The "finding process" took time and it certainly took another year to print this new map!
